Virtual Event Professional Job Description:

The Virtual Event Specialist will create and execute comprehensive virtual event plans that align with marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail to deliver exceptional virtual experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop an event plan that aligns with marketing goals
    • Identify target audiences and create relevant event topics
    • Collaborate with internal teams to secure subject matter experts
    • Oversee the event lifecycle, including scheduling, promotion, registration, live delivery, and post-event follow-ups
    • Manage technical aspects of events, including platform setup and audiovisual coordination
    • Conduct rehearsals with presenters to ensure seamless delivery
    • Monitor and analyze event performance metrics, providing actionable insights
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing team to align event themes with campaigns and goals
    • Collaborate with product marketing team to develop events highlighting key features and value propositions
  • Marketing and Promotion:
    • Coordinate promotional materials, email campaigns, and social media content to maximize event attendance
    • Leverage analytics tools to track and optimize promotional efforts
  • Reporting & Optimization:
    • Track attendance, engagement, and feedback to measure event success
    • Generate regular performance reports for internal stakeholders
    • Continuously improve event content, format, and delivery based on audience feedback and data insights

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in event management, virtual events, or digital marketing
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Familiarity with event platforms (e.g., ON24) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing event performance metrics
  • Creative thinker with a passion for delivering engaging virtual experiences
