System Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Automation: Monitor system performance and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Incident Management: Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Capacity Planning: Assess system capacity and plan for future growth to ensure scalability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate reliability into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Disaster Recovery: Prepare and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong technical proficiency in operating systems (Linux), cloud services (AWS, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). You will also possess programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java for automation and scripting tasks. Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK stack is essential. Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform is also required. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex system issues are necessary.
