Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage and automate our file transfer workflows, maintain system security, and monitor system alerts.

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of our infrastructure. This includes managing and scaling cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment, partnering with development teams and cross-functional teams to provide day-to-day support on DevOps activities, and developing backend systems with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment.
  • Partner with development teams and cross-functional teams to provide day-to-day support on DevOps activities.
  • Develop backend systems with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS.
  • Automate infrastructure and implement infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent, reliable software delivery.
  • Implement observability and monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system anomalies.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and incident response across production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar role.
  • 3+ years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, reliable software delivery.
  • Proficient in using observability and monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks or system anomalies.
  • Demonstrated success in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across application layers, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure components.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
