Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing stack-up analysis and design hand calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform stack-up analysis and design hand calculations
  • Conceptual and detailed design of aero engine components using conventional hand calculations
  • Interact with customers as needed on task status at a technical standpoint
  • Evaluate product non-conformances and provide engineering recommendations for aero engine parts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and engineering concepts
  • Rich experience working on aero engine parts in the areas of compressors and turbines
  • Sound knowledge of the build and functionality of aero engines and sub-modules
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T application and ability to perform complex tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Capability to understand and interpret structural analysis results
  • Experience interacting with customers to solve critical problems
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • An excellent team player

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to manufactured process and deviation resolutions
  • Modeling and drafting skills in any CAD tools
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Tools
