Job Summary

This role involves providing first- and second-level support to our global employees, covering multiple sites across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely operational and technical support for personal computers and troubleshooting of all domestic computer hardware and software issues
  • Prompt and effective troubleshooting, resolution and documentation of all problems and service requests.
  • Accurate documentation of installation and configuration procedures for both standard and non-standard software packages.
  • Management of software and hardware deployment and rollout.
  • Maintenance of an accurate inventory of company assets.
  • Creation and maintenance of a knowledge base to support users.
  • Ensuring all network assets are secured through collaboration with the Cybersecurity team.
  • Update problem management database with timely and meaningful information in accordance with desktop service levels.
  • Gathering and logging of relevant information about the issue and attempts to resolve it using tools provided and collective knowledge of teammates and supervisors.
  • Utilization of knowledge base used to assist in troubleshooting efforts. Sharing experiences with other team members.
  • Assistance in the deployment of desktop PCs and peripherals.
  • On-boarding of new employees with company orientation to computer assets
  • Response to all voice mail and email daily.
  • Working knowledge of all desktop applications, and OS software supported by Desktop Services. Troubleshooting and assistance in the use of all supported software.
  • Variety of duties assigned by the Client Solutions Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • At least 2 years experience in Desktop and/or Helpdesk support.
  • Prior work-related experience with current standard desktop software (Microsoft Office, Windows).
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are beneficial.
  • Experience in working with international clients in USA and Europe.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
  • Experience with Desktop or Help Desk support is advantageous.
