Chief Incident Response Specialist

The Incident Coordination team is a part of the Infrastructure Engineering Operations group, responsible for quickly mitigating incidents and ensuring necessary steps are taken to reduce their recurrence. We aim to provide timely incident updates and foster a collaborative environment where team members can work together efficiently.
About Us:As an Incident Manager, you will be responsible for resolving major incidents that impact customers and/or our platform. You will identify the severity of incidents and ensure proper priority is assigned based on their impact and hazards.
Responsibilities:- Defining the severity level for incidents and assigning the appropriate priority.
- Evaluating the overall impact of a situation and taking prompt action.
- Leading technical and non-technical teams to mitigate complex incidents.
- Directing troubleshooting and resource gathering activities and engaging other functions as required.
- Ensuring effective internal communication and driving incident progress updates.
- Implementing holistic measures to prevent incident recurrence in Phases 2 and 3.
- Relevant experience as an Incident Manager with developed analytical and technical writing skills.
- Knowledge of internet-related technologies, including HTTP, DNS, network protocols, Unix, and streaming.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling clear verbal and written dissemination of information.
- Self-motivation and teamwork capabilities to manage multiple priorities and commitments.
- Experience in developing best practices and participating in knowledge sharing initiatives.
