Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to play a critical role in ensuring the stability and scalability of our accounting and finance platforms.

  • Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or engineering, with 3-5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building automation, implementing monitoring and observability tools, improving incident response, and championing DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring accounting and finance platforms meet defined SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for performance, reliability, and uptime.
  2. Building automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  3. Implementing comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  4. Leading and participating in on-call rotations, performing root cause analysis, and driving improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
  5. Establishing and enforcing best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong scripting/programming experience (Python, Bash, Go, or similar) for automation and tooling.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations from an operational support perspective.
  • Proven ability to manage incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
