SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

Talent Worx is seeking a talented SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to enhance our technology team. In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of our applications and services. Your work will involve both software engineering and systems operations as you strive to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor system health, and develop tools for automating tasks and managing infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring consistent and reliable deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design scalable and robust software architectures.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analyses swiftly.
  • Create detailed documentation for infrastructure setup, troubleshooting, and operational procedures.
  • Engage in capacity planning and continuous performance improvements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents to maintain high system reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or related role.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in coding/scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience with container tools and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with microservices architectures and API development.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in security best practices for cloud applications.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud or site reliability engineering.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
