US and Canada Payroll Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Fusion HCM Sr. Techno-Functional Consultant to lead our US and Canada payroll operations.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement payroll strategies for the US and Canada regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of payroll processes and elements set up/configurations for the US and Canada region, including year-end knowledge (t4/rl1/w4) and North America Taxation experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs while minimizing risk and cost.
  • Leverage expertise in SDLC and JIRA to manage projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Analyze and resolve complex payroll issues, providing expert guidance to stakeholders and driving process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of functional experience in US and Canada Payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll processes and elements set up/configurations for the US and Canada region.
  • Expertise in Payroll Fast Formulas, BIP, OTBI development, HDL, and PAYROLL Balance Initializations and Balance Adjustments for the US and Canada localizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write fast formulas for payroll elements and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult on requested configuration changes and partner with cross-functional teams.
