Job Description:Senior Business Development Professional

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Professional to cultivate relationships with international clients, expand our product reach into new markets, and drive consistent growth in exports sales.

This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and targeting potential organisations, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition:
    • Identify and target potential organisations, importers, hospitals, and clients in international markets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while understanding their needs and requirements.
    • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with international customers.
    • Optimise pricing strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on export sales performance, market insights, and strategies.
  • Market Development:
    • Develop and implement a strategic plan for expanding our product exports to existing and new markets.
    • Identify potential markets and segments with the highest growth potential.
    • Evaluate and adjust the strategy based on market dynamics and competition.
    • Prepare tentative exhibition plans along with financial budgets.
    • Prepare marketing materials, product brochures, and client presentations using MS Office and online tools.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay updated on international market trends, trade regulations, and economic factors.
    • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats in different regions.
    • Evaluate customer feedback and take corrective action.
  • Country Import Regulations & Customs Laws:
    • Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade laws, and customs requirements in various countries.
    • Handle documentation, such as bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, invoices, and commercial agreements.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Business, Business Management (Sales & Marketing), Digital Marketing, Pharmaceutical / Hospital Management).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an International B2B sales and business development role in a pharmaceutical / healthcare / medical device company.
  • Awareness and focused experience on Global Healthcare tenders (NGOs & MOH requirements) / Named Patient Supplies for Unregistered products / 'Special Permit Imports' in developing markets would be highly preferred.
  • Prior experience of working on marketing material preparation and participation in Global Healthcare Exhibitions would be preferred.
