Job Description:

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be part of our Project Management team, working in close coordination with our Regional Centers worldwide. Your primary responsibility will be to execute the Engineering scope of work within schedule and budget.

You will take ownership of the overall design quality and selected technical solutions, working closely with internal stakeholders such as Planning, Engineering departments, and developing and implementing lessons learned.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and controlling the Engineering scope of work
  • Providing input to the Overall EPM for developing the overall Project Engineering Plan, including budget and planning of the assigned engineering scope
  • Reviewing and endorsing the engineering resources plan prepared by Discipline Leaders for the assigned scope of work
  • Coordinating the engineering team in consultation with Discipline Leaders and Lead Engineers
  • Aligning multi-disciplines towards common objectives
  • Managing the execution of the Engineering scope in compliance with the contract, applicable rules and regulations, internal systems and standards, resulting in a safe, operable, and cost-effective design
  • Addressing all interface issues with other departments and proactively avoiding rework on deliverables
  • Organizing design reviews and implementing review results
  • Managing and resolving site design queries
  • Advising and implementing latest and cost-effective solutions in consultation with the Project Management Teams

Requirements:

  • Candidates with a BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in any relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Structure, Mechanical, Process, etc.)
  • Mandatory: At least 15 years of Engineering experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry within E&I, structural, process, or any other discipline from the Engineering phase. Experience in Project Management - from FEED to Completion - for EPCI projects. Well-developed contractual awareness and excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally
  • Required: Teams Management experience required (as coordinator, focal point)
  • Preferred: Experience onshore site (construction part, yards) and experience with Floating Oil and Gas solutions
