Job Opportunity:

A seasoned financial professional is required to maintain and update financial records, prepare financial statements, and manage accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for Australian companies.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions with precision.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and present financial reports, summaries, and insights to support business decisions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas of improvement and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring adherence to Australian tax laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members to resolve any bookkeeping issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and NetSuite.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
