Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Learning Manager to lead the implementation of our digital learning strategy across all channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing training strategies that support our growth goals and strengthen our learning foundation.

  • This includes responsibility for the development, testing, and implementation of digital training systems.
  • The role also involves presentation and reporting on progress to leadership teams.
LMS Administration

The Digital Learning Manager will oversee the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS). This includes setting up the LMS, configuring it to meet channel needs, and ensuring it is properly maintained.

  • This will involve working with vendors and IT teams to ensure all functionalities are developed as per requirement.
  • The manager will also lead the implementation of new systems and change management agendas.
Communication and Training

The successful candidate will be responsible for all communication to stakeholders about changes and will manage existing and new employee trainings about the system.

  • This includes stakeholder management across all groups.
LMS Configuration and Setup

The Digital Learning Manager will set up and configure the LMS to meet channel needs.

  • This includes learners, courses, learning journey, user roles & permissions, learning paths, training materials, badges, notifications, dashboards, custom certifications, channel specific user interfaces, etc.
LMS Maintenance

The Digital Learning Manager will maintain a Learning Management System.

  • This includes making sure the operational performance of the software is on track.
  • The manager will work with LMS providers to remain up-to-date on system specifications and updates.
LMS Integrations

The Digital Learning Manager will integrate the LMS with multiple internal or external systems.

  • This includes configuring and maintaining all such integrations.
LMS Reporting and Analytics

The Digital Learning Manager will track progress and performance using custom reports for organizational leadership and stakeholders.

  • This includes identifying macro patterns and trends in data to improve the LMS and organizational performance.
LMS System Documentation

The Digital Learning Manager will maintain system documentation.

  • This includes the LMS user manual, LMS processes, LMS features, LMS configurations, LMS course structures, and LMS security.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 6-7 years of working experience in managing the LMS or similar field.
  • A bachelor's degree in IT systems, computer science, or similar field.

You will also need strong technical skills including experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), proficiency in eLearning software, and good knowledge of MS office.

Able to troubleshoot tech issues quickly and effectively, and have excellent analytical skills to translate raw information into meaningful reporting.

  • Advance knowledge of Excel, good knowledge of PowerPoint, and SQL.
