Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Manager to join our team in a key role that will be responsible for managing data science and analytics hiring processes.

As a member of our talent acquisition function, you will develop and manage procedures and policies to support business growth and future capabilities. You will work with various internal and external sources to screen, source, and fulfill hiring needs.

You will also engage with internal and external stakeholders, guiding, supporting, and developing a recruitment team through a business partnership and relationship management mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
    • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and deliverables.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Recruitment Deliverables:
    • Develop sourcing strategies and recruit using multiple channels - agencies, job boards, referrals, campaigns basis generic, niche, and super-niche skills.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and key business partners to provide recruiting status reports and communications.
    • Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice from a recruiting lens, including building affinity, sourcing, training, and selection strategies.
  • Process Efficiency:
    • Ensure process adherence and develop checks & balances to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve hiring practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to understand requirements and provide required insights.
    • Act as a point of contact for hiring inquiries and needs, addressing concerns and providing timely updates.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs within the team and develop appropriate training programs.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth.

Requirements:

  • 12-14 years of overall experience, 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics hiring (particularly Actuarials, Catastrophic roles) and some understanding of analytics front (catastrophic modeling, etc).
  • Team management experience of at least 4 years is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment principles, practices, and tools for Data Analytics hiring.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and finding trends.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, data management, computer science, business analytics, or related field.
