Software Engineer in Test

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join our team. You will work to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our web and mobile applications.

You'll work closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, implement, and maintain automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing.
  • Develop and extend test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing.
  • Configure and schedule nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions.
  • Analyse test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
  • Write clear, maintainable, and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • Experience building and maintaining test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Jest).
