Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to develop automated scripts in Python, create and validate synthetic test data, and ensure high-quality data delivery in a CI/CD environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Automated Scripts: Create Python scripts to simulate real-world scenarios, ensuring accurate and reliable data processing.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
  • Integrate Testing into CI/CD Pipelines: Ensure seamless integration of automated tests into continuous delivery and deployment pipelines.
  • Analyze and Document Defects: Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in data.
  • Contribute to Test Automation Strategies: Collaborate on the development of reusable SQL test frameworks and contribute to test automation strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong Experience in Test Automation: Proven expertise in developing automated scripts, particularly with data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python: Strong understanding of Python programming language and experience with frameworks such as YData-Synthetic, SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, DoppelGANger.
  • CI/CD Environment Expertise: Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring smooth deployment processes.
  • Relational Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • GE Plant Applications Expertise: MUST HAVE: Experience with GE Plant Applications.
  • Nice to Have: Experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
