About the Role

We are looking for a debt funding specialist with expertise in raising debt funds and experience in non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) or small finance banks.

  • Drive the process of raising debt capital from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • Build and manage relationships with lenders, financial institutions, rating agencies, and investors to secure funding.
  • Structure debt transactions, negotiate loan terms, and ensure optimal funding costs.
  • Ensure adherence to RBI/NBFC regulations and maintain compliance with lending frameworks.
  • Develop funding strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity management.
  • Work closely with other teams to assess funding risks and mitigate exposure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in raising debt funds from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
  • Strong network with lenders, including banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and structured finance players.
  • Prior experience in NBFCs or small finance banks is a must.
  • Expertise in structured finance, term loans, working capital loans, and credit lines.
  • Solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation.
  • Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills.
