Job Overview

The AV Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of technical projects by coordinating, scheduling, and managing the deployment of AV technicians and technical staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule technicians and technical staff for installations, events, and projects based on project needs, availability, and skillsets.
  • Coordinate shifts and manage overtime, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Manage a database of staff availability and competencies to streamline project staffing.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and project managers to ensure smooth communication and successful project execution.
Requirements

Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related technical field is preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in operations coordination, preferably in the AV / IT industry or technical services such as air-conditioning, telecom, automation.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of technical projects and workflows, ability to troubleshoot and resolve people's issues.

Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and personnel schedules simultaneously.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate in Hindi, English, and Kannada.

Problem-solving Skills: Strong decision-making and troubleshooting skills, especially in high-pressure environments.

Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and messaging platforms.

People Management: Experience managing and coordinating a team of technical professionals, including handling scheduling conflicts and performance issues.
