Job Title: Finance Expert

Job Description:

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by delivering accurate and timely financial insights. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly financial packages for multiple properties within established deadlines.
  • Posting month-end close journal entries, accruals, prepayments, mortgages, and other necessary transactions to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Conducting regular variance analysis to identify trends and deviations from expected outcomes.
  • Reviewing, verifying, and approving invoices while resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Managing cash flow for assigned properties by reviewing client bank statements and applying deposits against tenants.
  • Ensuring tenant service revenue and cost of tenant service revenue are reconciled each month with diligent follow-up on open items.
  • Coordinating year-end audit work and preparing supporting schedules to facilitate smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong background in finance with a degree in commerce or postgraduate CA Inter qualification.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in general ledger accounting and finance, including profit/loss analysis and balance sheet overview.
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting is an asset but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and logical thinking with the ability to develop solutions quickly.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated consistency in values, principles, and work ethics.
