Job Title: Research Analyst

Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join their Valuations Team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in validating valuations, reviewing and documenting valuation models, drafting investment memos, and providing valuable insights.

  • The selected individual will review inputs included in valuation matrix-based valuation models and materials, validate valuation methodology and models used model calibration and methodology review, and review valuation of assets held by the funds at each NAV frequency.
  • Responsibilities include reviewing and documenting valuation models at asset level, supporting the onshore team with monthly and quarterly valuation review process, preparing and validating monthly and quarterly NAV review including NAV snapshot, waterfall analysis and performing reasonability checks on CAS.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in valuations.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing credit risk, financial statement analysis and interpreting complex financial data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Candidates with CFA designation or actively pursuing CFA program will be given preference.
