Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Platform Engineering Lead to design, develop and maintain a robust data foundation for our enterprise SaaS and AI-driven products.

This role involves leading the design of clean, scalable models, driving data platform strategy and enabling a high-velocity product development culture. As part of our team, you will work closely with engineering, product and analytics teams to deliver reliable data-backed features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop and maintain a semantic layer and modular dbt pipelines.
  • Own schema design, documentation and data contracts across the analytics and application layer.
  • Define and enforce data platform best practices, versioning and governance for all data models.
  • Implement data testing, observability and quality automation to ensure confidence at scale.
  • Guide tool selection and platform evolution across the modern data stack.
  • Mentor a growing team of engineers and participate in architecture planning and reviews.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
  • Deep experience designing and maintaining normalized and dimensional data models.
  • Advanced expertise in dbt (macros, packages, tests, modularization, docs).
  • Expert in SQL, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  • Strong Python scripting for transformation logic and automation.
