About This Role:

As a senior data engineer with our innovative team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines on GCP.

  • Design and implement efficient data processing workflows using GCS, BigQuery, and Airflow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop robust ETL/ELT processes using Python and integrate with data orchestration tools.
  • Optimize BigQuery performance through schema design, partitioning, clustering, and query optimization.
  • Maintain and ensure the security and integrity of data lake and data warehouse environments.
  • Audit and monitor data pipelines for consistent and reliable data delivery.
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and promote best practices in data engineering and cloud usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly GCS, BigQuery, IAM, and Cloud Functions.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data storage, access patterns, and integration.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for managing complex workflows.
  • Proficient in Python scripting and automation, including working with APIs, data processing libraries, and custom operators in Airflow.
