Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Leader to drive the design, development, and management of scalable data infrastructure and pipelines.

This individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, architecting large-scale data pipelines, and developing efficient ETL/ELT workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with cloud-based technologies, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and software teams to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient data solutions.

  • Lead a team of data engineers to drive innovation and collaboration.
  • Design and implement large-scale data pipelines, data lakes, and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data engineering processes and tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 18 years of professional experience in data engineering, with at least 12 years in leadership or senior technical roles.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Databricks and Apache Spark.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Extensive experience with cloud data platforms, including services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL/ELT design, and data lakes.
