Job Opportunity: Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the engineering process, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Developing 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, adhering to best practices and ensuring accurate information alignment.">
• Following established company processes and standards.">
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop products that meet performance requirements, customer needs, and product design criteria.">
• Ensuring product designs prioritize quality, usability, reliability, functionality, marketability, and ease of manufacture.">
• Supporting the verification and validation of new product designs.">
• Reviewing mechanical design calculations, fabrication drawings, and job packages for gas transfer products, Emergency Release Couplings, Breakaway Couplings, Dry Break Couplings, pressure vessels, columns, and storage tanks.">
• Completing and overseeing functional testing on prototypes, including designing test units and tooling with recorded documentation.">
• Applying design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturability methods to support project objectives.">
• Working collaboratively with design, sales, and project teams to achieve project goals.">
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities and process optimization initiatives.">
• Analyzing and managing multiple design-related issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.">
• Modifying designs based on analysis and re-testing until they meet specification requirements.">
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging engineering trends.">
• Performing special projects as required.">
• Providing technical guidance and training to team members.">
• Preparing technical documents, such as calculation reports, technical manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures/Guidelines.">
• Communicating effectively to avoid ambiguity and ensure clarity in all interactions.">

  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems, cryogenic materials, valves, couplings, and seal technologies is preferred but not essential.">
  • Proven track record of working in a manufacturing and fabrication environment, with experience in designing and detailed engineering of pressure vessels, valves, columns, pipe sections, and storage tanks.">
  • Demonstrable experience in product design and development, with a solid understanding of the product lifecycle.">
  • Ability to identify, break down, and solve complex technical problems.">
  • Strong aptitude for hands-on engineering and disciplined approach to documentation.">
  • Experience working with ISO, ASME, EN requirements, and other relevant guidelines and regulations.">
  • Proficiency in using ERP Systems, such as D365, and design software like SolidWorks.">
