Sr. Storage Systems Architect

Job Summary:

Seeking a seasoned IT professional to provide strategic leadership in the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of storage solutions for business-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, knowledge management, and SMETDs.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Support capacity planning, forecasting, and trending to ensure optimal resource allocation.

Technical Requirements:

  • Expert-level administration skills in NetApp storage arrays (FAS, E-Series, Data ONTAP OS, Cluster Mode).
  • Proficiency in installing, configuring, and supporting multipath software.
  • Administer volumes and manage storage resources effectively.
  • Experience with NDMP, OSSV, and storage virtualization technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose connectivity issues and hardware diagnostics.
  • Configuration, monitoring, and analysis of event logs to identify potential issues.
  • Working knowledge of UNIX or Windows administration, as well as experience in remote system administration and deployment management.
  • Aptitude for automation scripting and tools, with a focus on SLA management.
