Job Overview

The Senior Business Analyst role is a critical position that plays a vital part in the successful delivery of consulting engagements in the e-commerce domain. This senior analyst will be responsible for facilitating the execution of projects by identifying, evaluating, and documenting e-commerce system requirements and procedures that meet business objectives and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one or small group interview sessions to gather required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements to develop requirement documentation.
  • Provide consultation to stakeholders on omni-channel-specific business topics, including product catalog modeling, inventory management, customer service, b2b customer management, b2b procurement, demand generation, promotion strategy, cross-channel commerce, and more.
  • Develop user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to communicate engagement scope to clients and delivery team members.
  • Collaborate with other project delivery team members towards the resolution of business or systems issues.
  • Understand e-commerce data structures, collect product catalogue data from client stakeholders, manipulate data for import into eCommerce system, identify data gaps, and perform product data imports into eCommerce system (project-dependent).
  • Provide system demonstrations and training to client stakeholders.
  • Develop test plans, write manual/automated test scripts, and define acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality project deliverables (project-dependent).

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in general IT business analysis coming from the e-commerce domain.
  • Experience implementing Hybris Commerce (2-3 years).
  • Concrete understanding of SAP Hybris Application Lifecycle Framework.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Able to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
  • Experience with global service delivery models.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
