About the Role:

The Product Owner will be responsible for delivering product features that enable seamless integration of IoT, automation, and data analytics in smart buildings.

As a key member of the Para Platform team, you will act as a bridge between stakeholders, customers, and development teams to ensure the platform delivers measurable value to building owners, operators, and tenants.

You will work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog for the Para Platform in alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
  • Engage with stakeholders including building owners, facilities managers, IoT partners, and internal teams to gather insights and validate requirements.
  • Champion customer experience and usability, ensuring that product decisions are guided by data and feedback.
  • Track product performance using KPIs such as adoption, engagement, system uptime, and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the voice of the customer during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product reviews.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in SaaS, IoT, PropTech, or smart building domains.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with IoT platforms, building management systems (BMS), or energy management solutions.
  • Background in smart buildings, real estate technology, or facility management.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, AI/ML, or cloud-based IoT integrations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
