Position: Performance Management Specialist

This role involves analyzing various aspects of Performance Management Systems, including maker manuals and exported data from other Enterprise Resource Planning systems. Key responsibilities include understanding client requirements, identifying gaps between user needs and system features, and providing input to the development team. The selected candidate will also be responsible for testing functional aspects of modules, creating software-related documents, and training internal and external users on Performance Management and related modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and Document User Requirements: Gather and document user requirements to ensure a clear understanding of their needs and expectations.
  2. Identify and Communicate System Gaps: Identify gaps between user requirements and system features, and communicate these findings to the development team.
  3. Test and Validate System Functionality: Test and validate the functionality of developed modules to ensure they meet user requirements.
  4. Develop and Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain software-related documents, such as feature documents, help documents, FAQs, and workflow documents.
  5. Conduct Training Sessions: Conduct training sessions for internal and external users on Performance Management and related modules.
Ship Visit and Other Responsibilities:
  1. Visits and Support: Visit vessels for implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes, and provide support to vessels and remote offices.
  2. Data Collection and Update: Assist in data collection processes and update Performance Management System data onboard.
  3. Training and Onboarding: Train shipboard personnel on using Performance Management and other modules, including database backup and system recovery.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A 3rd/4th engineer or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A shore experience in a shipping management company as a Performance Management coordinator/controller with an educational background in naval architecture and marine engineering.
  • Experience and deep understanding of enterprise computing needs of ship management companies.
  • Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent typing and analyzing skills.
  • A self-motivated, independent, and meticulous individual with an eye for detail.
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
