Description:

The role of Academic Operations Manager is crucial in overseeing the instructional operations of a middle school setting. As a key member of the academic team, this position plays a vital role in enhancing teaching quality and promoting student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Plan Oversight
    • Review and monitor lesson plans from all teachers to ensure alignment with modern pedagogical strategies and curriculum standards.
    • Provide timely feedback and recommendations for improvement to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Teacher Support & Training
    • Offer coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve lesson planning and instructional delivery.
    • Conduct workshops and training sessions to reinforce modern teaching methods and promote professional development.
  • Classroom Observations
    • Design an observation schedule covering all teachers to evaluate teaching effectiveness and provide actionable feedback.
    • Share targeted, evidence-based feedback with teachers to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Prepare regular academic performance reports for school leadership to inform decision-making.
    • Maintain open communication with school administrators to address challenges and track progress.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure consistent implementation of approved teaching and learning strategies across the school.
    • Collaborate with school leaders to make informed decisions that improve instructional quality and student outcomes.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field.
    • Minimum 5-8 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in an instructional leadership role.
    • Proven track record of implementing effective teaching and learning improvements.
    • Strong technology integration skills to support academic planning, instruction, and monitoring.
