Our team is seeking a leader in data operations and management to join us in Hyderabad. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for advancing the observability, monitoring, and reliability practices across our Enterprise Data & Analytics Platforms landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for someone with strong expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive observability frameworks to monitor performance, reliability, and availability of EDAA data platforms and services.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience defining and tracking key Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across critical platform components and data pipelines.
  • You will lead the integration of monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting tools to enable real-time insights and root cause analysis.
  • As part of our team, you will collaborate with platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and product teams to enhance observability coverage and automate incident responses.
  • The successful candidate will drive the adoption of best practices in telemetry collection, dashboards, and visualization for operational excellence.
  • You will oversee incident management processes and post-mortem practices to ensure continuous reliability improvements.
  • Furthermore, you will provide leadership in tool evaluation and deployment across observability and performance management platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will partner with security, compliance, and data governance teams to ensure visibility into data usage, lineage, and policy adherence.
  • Finally, you will lead operational reviews and reporting to highlight system health, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
Requirements:
  • We are looking for someone with 11+ years of experience in platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, or observability roles.
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) Pipelines.
  • Strong expertise with observability tools and platforms, such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Open Telemetry, and Splunk, is required.
  • Deep understanding of monitoring distributed data platforms, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures, including AWS, GCP, and Azure, is necessary.
  • Experience setting and managing SLIs/SLOs/SLAs in high-availability environments is a must.
  • Strong background in incident response, performance tuning, and root cause analysis is essential.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and align technical work with business outcomes is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications are preferred.
