Chief Data Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Azure data support operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing support activities for applications built on Azure Databricks, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Function Apps.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of engineers to ensure efficient handling of support tasks.
- Team Leadership: Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management frameworks is essential for this role.
- Technical Oversight: The ability to manage the monitoring and maintenance of Azure SQL databases and AKS deployments is critical.
- Incident Management and Escalation: The selected candidate will serve as the escalation point for critical incidents and production issues.
- Process Optimization and Automation: Identifying and implementing improvements in support processes to enhance efficiency and reliability is key to success.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution is vital.
In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
