Financial Operations Specialist

As a financial operations specialist, you will play a vital role in preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day accounting processes, reviewing the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and managing account managers for financial purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ledgers for client entities in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare and verify financial statements and ledgers for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Handle revenue postings, inventory tracking, receivables, and payables management to optimize cash flow
- Apply and uphold internal accounting policies and control procedures to minimize risks
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, credit card accounts, and intercompany balances to ensure consistency
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising accountants while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Support monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation
- Assist in audit processes by compiling and submitting necessary documentation to support financial reporting
- Ensure adherence to financial compliance standards and support tax-related filings to avoid penalties
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required
- CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or similar professional qualification from a recognized body within the country or abroad is highly desirable but not mandatory
- Partially qualified candidates with expertise in the necessary domain will also be considered if found suitable for the role
