Vendor Management Opportunity

This role is focused on leading the strategic vendor management process. The individual responsible for this position will oversee robust vendor management processes and tools within a global services organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to improvements in vendor management strategy, including process optimization, governance, cost reduction, contract negotiations, and automation.
  • Oversee the entire vendor on-boarding life cycle.
  • Negotiate contracts, create work orders/purchase orders, and track costs for services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to drive business results.
  • Promote a collaborative approach that benefits both parties.
  • Navigate complex negotiations and escalations with vendor account management and resolve any contract or payment-related issues.
  • Participate in regular vendor business reviews.
  • Work closely with stakeholders on high-priority vendor relationships.
  • Oversight of metrics tracking for vendor management performance.
