Automation Specialist

The role involves working with a multinational telecom major to automate infrastructure and application management using Ansible playbooks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create custom Ansible modules and integrate them into playbooks for configuration management, application deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.
  • Write, organise, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate tasks and manage infrastructure as code.
  • Leverage YAML for defining tasks and leveraging modules for specific actions.
  • Understand how playbooks interact with managed nodes and optimise Ansible playbooks for various tasks.
  • Maintain deep understanding of RedHat Linux and ANSIBLE development.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Ansible playbooks and roles.
  • Strong scripting abilities in Python and Bash.
  • Familiarity with YAML for defining infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (such as Git), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Qualifications:

  • B Tech degree plus relevant certifications.
  • 7-10 years of experience in automation and DevOps.
