Job Title: Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows and real-time systems for user insights, engagement tracking and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows and real-time systems using Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink and Airflow.
  • Own the data lake/warehouse architecture and ensure it remains future-proof as we scale to 100M+ users.
  • Collaborate with product, growth and content teams to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
  • Implement data governance, monitoring and validation layers to ensure reliability.
  • Work on recommendation, personalization and ad-tech data models in partnership with product/AI teams.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of Data Engineering experience, preferably in consumer-tech / OTT / adtech.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python and distributed systems.
  • Proven experience designing and managing data infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing & lakehouse solutions such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Experience with real-time streaming + batch pipelines.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms/dashboards such as Looker, Power BI or similar.
