Pension System Calculation Specialist

Contribute to the evolution of our administrator system and rollout of services to clients by undertaking complex calculations within packaged software platforms, pension systems or through the use of spreadsheet functionality.

This is an exciting opportunity for you if you have experience in configuring and/or testing complex calculations, pension calculations or mathematical skills in a rewarding environment and gain experience in the UK pensions market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of Requirements: Undertake analysis of requirements from user requirements or from a more detailed benefit specification.
  • Pension Benefit Calculations: Configure, test, implement and maintain pension benefit calculations.
  • Delivery Approach: Continuously develop a professional, technical, and commercially aware approach to delivery of tasks.

Requirements:

  • Actuarial and Pension Knowledge: Relevant experience and understanding of actuarial and/or pension calculations.
  • UK Pensions Arrangements: A good understanding of UK pensions arrangements would be desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Technical Aptitude: Technical/Software development aptitude & ability.
  • Calculation Experience: Experience of configuration and/or testing of calculations in respect of UK pension on administration platforms and systems.
