Manufacturing Operations Manager

The Manufacturing Operations Manager will oversee daily production activities, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards. This key member of the team will coordinate fabrication activities to meet production schedules and optimize workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Production Planning & Execution
  • Supervise fabrication activities, allocating tasks and ensuring availability of raw materials and tools for smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment servicing and repairs.
Quality Control
  • Ensure all fabricated components meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections and address any quality issues.
Team Management
  • Lead and motivate a team of fabricators, welders, and operators.
  • Train and develop employees on best practices, safety, and quality standards.
Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
Process Improvement
  • Identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain daily production reports, material usage records, and downtime logs.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment servicing and repairs.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in fabrication, welding, and sheet metal manufacturing.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
