Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design configuration and deployment of industrial applications across manufacturing operations.

  • Design configure and deploy industrial applications for seamless integration with enterprise systems.
  • Develop maintain secure efficient data exchange using REST APIs MQTT and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases SQL historian timeseries databases for high availability and performance.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Ignition SCADA including scripting module configuration and project deployment. They will also possess a strong background in MES functions production tracking OEE downtime analysis traceability SPC etc.

Requirements
  • 3 - 8 years of experience in industrial engineering within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation including scripting module configuration and project deployment.
  • Strong background in MES functions production tracking OEE downtime analysis traceability SPC etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL or equivalent.
  • Experience with OTIT integration technologies.
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity.
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication.
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems PLC SCADA HMIs and plant floor connectivity.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95 ISA88 ISA99 IEC 62443.
  • Excellent problem solving communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms Azure IoT AWS IoT etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
  • Familiarity with containerization Docker Kubernetes for industrial deployments.
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation Industry 4.0 projects.
  • Certifications Ignition Gold Certified Specialist OPC UA or relevant industrial ITOT certifications.
