About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Piping Design Engineer to lead our team in complex engineering projects. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in piping design, HVAC design, and 3D modeling tools to deliver high-quality designs that meet project specifications, codes, and industry standards.

  • Lead piping design and layout activities for complex engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Prepare and review piping GA drawings, isometrics, MTOs, and support drawings, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, structural, mechanical, instrumentation, and procurement departments.
  • Perform clash detection and resolve design issues using advanced 3D modeling tools, such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks Manage.
  • Provide technical support to fabrication, installation, and commissioning teams, ensuring designs comply with project specifications, client standards, international codes, and classification society rules.
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of piping design codes and standards, including ASME B31.3 and API 650.
Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver piping systems, including pipe routing, sizing, and material selection.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
  • Proactively identify risks and propose solutions to maintain design integrity, ensuring timely delivery of design packages while adhering to project schedules and quality benchmarks.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • 4-12 years of experience in piping design, preferably with background in Marine/Offshore projects.
  • Hands-on expertise in layout planning, routing, and detailing, including experience with parametric modeling tools and AI tools.

Key Skills: AutoCAD Plant 3D, Recap, Navisworks Manage, parametric modeling tools, and AI tools.

Industry Experience: Marine, Offshore, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power, Pharma, F&B.
