Senior Engineering Specialist - Piping

The role involves providing expert-level engineering support for piping design and development, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop piping systems and components, reviewing detailed piping layout drawings, including isometrics and bill of materials.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to project requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships, conduct technical evaluations, and verify compliance with industry standards for piping items.
  • Prepare pipe wall thickness calculations, branch chart calculations, and line blanks, as well as datasheets for special piping items.
  • Develop project standards, technical specifications for piping materials, and RFQs for piping bulk items, valves, and specialty items.
  • Assist in resolving bottlenecks in project workflow, extracting/handling piping MTOs, and developing inspection and testing plans for tanks and vessels.
