Job Title: Software Development Lead

Description:

  • The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend engineering.
  • We seek a highly skilled professional proficient in Java, Spring, and RESTful APIs with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns, including concurrency patterns in Java, is required.
  • The selected individual will have experience working with both external and embedded databases, as well as a knack for writing clean, readable, and reusable code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unit tests should be implemented to ensure maximum code coverage using Maven and Git.
  • Develop high-quality backend applications focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Cross-functional teams collaboration is necessary to design and implement database schemas representing business processes.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve existing systems and develop new ones, is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Maven is necessary.
  • Good knowledge of performance testing and optimization for space, memory, and speed.
