**Python Test Automation Engineer Role**Rail domain specialists are in high demand, and as a Python test automation engineer, you'll be at the forefront of this trend. With at least one year of experience in rail domain testing, specifically Positive Train Control (PTC) and IETMS, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of locomotive onboard systems.In this position, you will:
  • Perform system and integration testing of locomotive onboard systems, including PTC and IETMS, to guarantee their reliability and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Analyze system requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, log defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in rail systems, upholding the highest levels of quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to validate end-to-end functionality and optimize system performance.
  • Participate in reviews, audits, and documentation of test results to foster a culture of transparency and accountability.
To succeed in this position, you'll need:
  • 6–9 years of experience in rail domain testing, specifically PTC (Positive Train Control) and IETMS.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python test automation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience with embedded systems and real-time testing environments, with a deep understanding of rail safety standards and protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on building strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
