Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our credit function, overseeing the strategic growth of our lending portfolio. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large portfolios, leading high-performing teams, and driving business results through effective risk management.

About the Role:

  • Credit Portfolio Leadership: Oversee the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures that ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to inform business decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including risk management, operations, and sales teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 18-20 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in banking or NBFCs.
  • Proven track record of leading the credit function for at least 2 years, with a strong understanding of credit policy and processes.
  • Extensive experience in managing large portfolios comprising SME and corporate clients, with exposure to multiple asset classes.
  • Risk professional with 15+ years of experience, having managed geographically spread teams and demonstrated expertise in new age underwriting/assessment tools and technology.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of lending norms, including CIBIL knowledge.
