Asset Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in asset management, advanced Excel skills, and excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization tools for financial statement analysis.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to read, interpret, and analyze property-level and portfolio-level financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • An analytical mindset with a proactive approach to evaluating asset performance vs. budget and historical benchmarks.
  • Identifying key trends, anomalies, and KPIs across financial statements to inform business decisions.
  • Synthesizing findings into actionable insights for the asset management team.
  • A critical thinker who actively questions assumptions, seeks clarity, and works independently to uncover causes and performance drivers with the help of operations and accounting.
  • A clear communicator who can relay financial insights and operational observations to the team lead in a structured and concise manner.
  • Project management skills, including coordinating timelines, managing deliverables, and tracking progress across multiple projects and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in an asset management analyst role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles, with the ability to read, interpret, and analyze property-level and portfolio-level financial statements.
  • An analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying key trends, anomalies, and KPIs across financial statements.
  • The ability to communicate complex financial insights and operational observations to the team lead.
  • Experience with Yardi/StarRez is a plus.
