Job Title: CMDB Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused individual to join our team as a CMDB Operations Coordinator.

Job Description:

The CMDB Operations Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and processing CMDB requests submitted through the Service Catalog, providing ad-hoc and scheduled data extracts to the customer base, and serving as the primary point of contact for level one customer communication.

This role will also involve working closely with other Configuration Management team members to satisfy key stakeholders' requirements, documenting Service Asset and Configuration processes, and providing holiday cover for the Configuration Management Team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process CMDB requests submitted through the Service Catalog.
  • Provide ad-hoc and scheduled data extracts to the customer base.
  • Primary responsibility for level one customer communication.
  • Work with other Configuration Management team members to satisfy key stakeholders' requirements.
  • Assist in documenting Service Asset and Configuration processes and procedural documentation.
  • Provide holiday cover for the Configuration Management Team as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent working knowledge of IT Operations and support organizations, as well as strong organizational skills, including effective scheduling, prioritization, and time management. Ability to articulate processes and drive consistent process improvements that aid End Users is also essential.

Additional requirements include experience with Asset and Configuration Management Processes involving both in-house and externally supported applications, understanding of ServiceNow CDSM data models, and intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, MS Teams, and Power BI (or equivalent).

Demonstrable ability to interpret and manipulate data clearly and accurately, with the ability to extract and articulate key points, is also necessary.
