Senior Account Manager Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead key client engagements, deliver impactful insights, and manage a high-performing team within a global, data-driven organization.
You will work at the intersection of research, strategy, and client leadership, translating complex data into compelling stories that drive business impact for renowned brands.
This is a leadership role focused on strategic account growth, team mentorship, multi-market project execution, and innovation in insight generation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Client Leadership
- Serve as senior client partner for key accounts, offering trusted advisory support on research and business challenges.
- Own end-to-end delivery of large-scale, multi-country quantitative research projects (Brand Tracking, Innovation, Segmentation, Custom Research).
- Lead client presentations and strategic workshops, aligning insights with actionable business recommendations.
- Develop and implement account plans that drive client satisfaction and growth.
2. Insights & Data Storytelling
- Integrate multiple data sources and frameworks to deliver high-impact, evidence-based insights to C-level stakeholders.
- Maintain rigor in research design while applying creativity in insight delivery formats.
- Continuously challenge the status quo by translating data into forward-thinking strategies for clients.
3. People & Team Leadership
- Mentor and manage junior researchers and project leads, helping them build capabilities in analytics, storytelling, and client engagement.
- Foster a performance-driven and collaborative team culture focused on learning, delivery excellence, and innovation.
- Manage team resourcing, project allocation, and career development conversations.
4. Innovation & Capability Building
- Champion adoption of new methodologies, digital platforms, and automation tools to enhance research execution and insight depth.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners for integrated delivery.
5. Commercial & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive revenue targets across designated accounts.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling by understanding client business priorities.
- Ensure project profitability and compliance with commercial and contractual processes.
6. Internal & External Collaboration
- Liaise with global counterparts to align insights on international programs.
- Represent the company at client forums, industry panels, and internal leadership initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Quantitative Consumer Research (Brand Tracking, Innovation, Segmentation preferred).
- Proven success in managing large clients and leading high-impact research programs.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate business questions into research solutions.
- Advanced analytical thinking and storytelling capabilities with proficiency in turning data into business narratives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; confidence in engaging with senior client stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and managing team members; a natural coach and collaborator.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments across global time zones.
