Job Description:

As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and strategizing the entire credit underwriting and monitoring process for personal loan portfolios through digital channels. You will develop and implement policies for credit assessment, collaborate with data science teams to analyze and validate underwriting models, and determine performance benchmarks.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive underwriting policies for credit evaluation.
  2. Collaborate closely with data science teams to analyze and validate underwriting models.
  3. Determine performance benchmarks and identify corrective actions for breaches.
  4. Automate credit policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness.
  5. Develop pricing strategies based on segmentation.
  6. Standardize policies and processes for efficient portfolio management.
  7. Monitor portfolio profitability, funnel metrics, and risk thresholds.

Performance Metrics:
  1. Analyze portfolio performance and recommend policy changes to the Policy Head.
  2. Periodically review existing portfolios, conduct analysis, and identify high-risk segments.
  3. Mitigate risks identified based on portfolio performance.
  4. Monitor delinquent accounts to ensure company standards are met.
  5. Identify technological solutions to improve processes and portfolio management functions.
  6. Analyze Management Information Systems (MIS) to monitor portfolio performance and risk.

Strategic Partnerships:
  1. Understand new channel partner products and target segments.
  2. Requisition data from channel partners at application time.
  3. Create policies based on products, available information, and prevailing models.
  4. Facilitate data room exercises for new customer segments.
  5. Formulate policies considering expected loss rates.
  6. Monitor policy implementation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production testing, clearing bottlenecks if any.

Relationship Building:

Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, credit reporting agencies, and assist in all credit operations.
