Financial Operations Specialist

We are a growing SaaS startup focused on delivering innovative solutions, and we're seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This is a remote position with flexible hours, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts, driving business growth and profitability.
Conduct regular financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for cost savings.
Provide recommendations on financial initiatives and investment opportunities, leveraging industry insights and market trends.
Prepare and manage comprehensive financial reports, including profit/loss statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Monitor expenses and assist with cash flow management, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing risks.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining a robust control environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
0-2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment, with a proven track record of success.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial tools (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks, or similar), with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key insights.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving results.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on driving business outcomes.
