Electrical and Instrumentation Professional

Job Summary:

  • Elevate the management of electrical and instrumentation systems through strategic planning, effective maintenance protocols, and rigorous quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate electrical and instrumentation departmental activities, ensuring seamless operation and efficient resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement safety standards to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Establish strong relationships with regional teams and vendors to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Manage and maintain equipment records, conduct regular inspections, and analyze performance data to optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff members to ensure they possess the necessary skills and expertise for their roles.
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced PLC programming solutions to enhance system efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and validate new equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Conduct sizing and selection of proper instruments, including mass flow meters, pressure transmitters, thermocouples, magnetic flowmeters, pH meters, turbidity meters, conductivity meters, ozone generators, and weighing systems.
  • Develop cost estimates for equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and sustainability within the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to EHS policies, Life Saving Rules, work permits, personal protective equipment usage, management of change, pre-job plans, incident reporting, and EHS procedures to guarantee safe working conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in electrical and instrumentation management, preferably in a manufacturing or process environment.
  • Strong technical background in automation, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in Rockwell Automation PLC systems, Control Logix, PLANT PAX, FT BATCH, SCADA, and LOGIC programming development.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English language (written and spoken).
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with a drive for excellence and continuous improvement.
