Technical Leadership Role

The Technical Lead is a pivotal position within the project team, responsible for ensuring that the development team is working effectively towards achieving technical delivery goals. This role demands high functional and non-functional quality, as well as exceptional code quality.

As a force multiplier, you will drive success through leading, coaching, and guiding others. Your key responsibilities will include:

Analysis and Design

  • Helping developers understand the problem at hand before commencing their build
  • Assisting with problem decomposition
  • Providing ad-hoc consultations and pair-work when necessary to address work inefficiencies and remove technical blockers

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

  • Working closely with internal and client SMEs to deliver complex data mapping solutions for migrations
  • Analyzing, designing, and maintaining ETL workflows
  • Resolving issues, testing, and providing post-implementation support

Quality Assurance and Support

  • Supervising technical quality through pair-work, ad-hoc reviews, code reviews, and spot-checks in promoted code
  • Supporting regression testing by encouraging developers to write automated tests and unit tests

Requirements and Qualifications

  • First-class bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience of working on large-scale technology delivery projects and successfully delivering technology change
  • Ability to work with different levels of stakeholders within a project environment
  • Experience in Microsoft .NET development products, including .NET, C#, and SQL Server
  • Expertise in web development, including ASP.NET, JavaScript, and ReactJS
  • Understanding of financial products and markets, as well as web services
